Tasting note

The 2020 Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc is a stunning white wine from the esteemed Pessac-Leognan appellation in Bordeaux. This wine boasts a pale yellow hue and an expressive nose filled with notes of yellow fruits like peach and apricot, complemented by white flowers such as acacias and orange blossom. On the palate, it offers a perfect balance with a nice tension, ample body, and a velvety texture. The acidity leads to a very long finish with great minerality. The aromatic profile mirrors the nose with added complexity from mineral and spicy notes, and a signature flint stone character from the terroir. This wine is a true testament to the meticulous winemaking process and the exceptional vineyard environment.
