This limited release single malt scotch whisky is a testament to the mastery of wood and spirit that The Macallan has been known for since 1824. Aged in seven different cask types from four Spanish bodegas, it offers a rich, nutty, and sweet palate with notes of malt, toffee, sherry, maraschino cherries, milk chocolate, and gentle spice. The finish is long, with spices and creamy cocoa. This whisky is warm with spice as cracked black pepper and cloves join with hints of chocolate, brown sugar, oak and nuts. Finally, liquorice and brandy snaps come through. It's full, slow, warm and wonderfully viscous.
