Tasting Note: Bright, elegant and refined, this Volnay Premier Cru opens with lifted aromas of red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry threaded with rose petal, wet stone and subtle forest-floor notes. On the palate it shows a ripe core framed by lively acidity, fine-grained silky tannins and a savory, long finish with hints of spice and dried herbs. Alcohol and ripeness give this vintage a slightly fuller body while the Premier Cru site keeps the wine poised and detailed.
