品飲筆記:費特肯16年帶出沉潛又溫暖的風格,聞起來有黑巧克力、葡乾與濃郁黑糖香,並夾帶些許白胡椒與薑的辛香。入口酒體飽滿,巧克力與李子果醬味先行,接著是黑胡椒與肉香的層次,尾段展現雪莉與波特桶的果乾甜與咖啡、煙草餘韻。

Tasting Note: A layered Highland single malt that opens with a slightly meaty, dark-fruited nose — raisins, black treacle and dark chocolate with a streak of white pepper. On the palate it’s smooth and substantial: drinking chocolate, plum compote, black pepper and warm cinnamon give way to savory notes. The 16-year maturation (first-fill bourbon casks with finishing in sherry and port casks) brings dried fruit sweetness, toasted oak and a touch of instant coffee. The finish is long, drying into ginger, chile and pipe tobacco.
Producer & Distilling Notes: From Fettercairn Distillery in the Highlands, this expression was distilled using chocolate malt to emphasize cocoa and baker’s-cocoa characters. Aged for 16 years, it spends the main maturation in first-fill bourbon barrels before receiving additional complexity and color with sherry and port cask finishing. Bottled at 46.4% ABV with a cork stopper, it balances cask richness and spirited freshness.
Serving & Cellaring: Serve neat or with a few drops of water to open the aromatics; allow about 10–20 minutes in the glass (or 15 minutes in a decanter) to breathe. Ideal for contemplative sips after dinner or paired with rich desserts and mature cheeses.
