The 2009 Chateau Leoville-Las Cases 'Grand Vin de Leoville' is a testament to the exceptional terroir of the former Léoville estate. This wine exudes a deep, dark ruby red color and a complex bouquet of fine cedar oak, vivid cassis, and a medley of vanilla, cinnamon, tobacco leaf, black olive, and blackcurrant. On the palate, it offers a symphony of flavors with plentiful, fine-grained tannins and excellent acidity that contribute to its superb grip and balance. The finish is extremely long, allowing the fruit to open up and reveal its full spectrum.
