The 2019 Chateau Leoville Poyferre is a stunning example of Saint-Julien's elegance and power. This wine opens with a showy nose of black and red fruits, espresso, cocoa, tobacco leaf, smoke, and floral aromas. On the palate, it shines with multiple layers of sensuously textured, deep, ripe, dark red fruits, plush, polished tannins, and a multi-layered, lusciously-textured, long, vibrant finish. Crafted by the skilled hands of winemakers Isabelle Davin and Didier Thomann, under the guidance of consultant Michel Rolland, this wine is a testament to meticulous winemaking and the exceptional terroir of the region. The vineyard, managed by Bruno Clenet, spans 80 hectares and benefits from the diverse soils of Saint-Julien.
