Chateau Lynch-Bages is a renowned winery located in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, France. Managed by Jean-Charles Cazes and owned by the Cazes Family, the estate spans 90 hectares of vineyards. The 2011 vintage was marked by a warm and dry spring, followed by a cooler summer with some heat spikes and storms. The grapes were hand-picked and sorted at the vineyard, with a new de-stemming system and optical sorter used for the harvest. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for 15 months, with 65% new wood.
