Producer notes: From Pernot-Belicard’s Bourgogne Cote d’Or bottling, this 2019 reflects the region’s classic balance of fresh acidity and textural richness. The house aims for an elegant style that highlights terroir clarity while using oak to add complexity. Winemaking notes: Fermented with close temperature control and part-maturation in French oak barrels; élevage included a portion of new and seasoned oak to lend toast and subtle vanilla. Gentle lees contact and partial malo-lactic conversion contribute to the wine’s rounded mouthfeel and creamy texture.
