2020 Laurus Crozes Hermitage Rouge

The 2020 Gabriel Meffre Crozes-Hermitage Laurus is a captivating wine that showcases the best of the Rhone Valley. With ripe aromas of black currants and blackberries, complemented by notes of crème de cassis, black licorice, and black peppercorn, this wine is a sensory delight. The palate is full-bodied, featuring layers of dark fruit interwoven with baking spices. Supple tannins provide structure, leading to a lingering finish reminiscent of black-tea leaves. This wine is perfect for pairing with grilled lamb chops, roasted duck, mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses.
