田地與生產:出自 Chateau Pichon-Longueville Baron 的次級酒款,葡萄來自對 Cabernet 有利的礫石地塊。2018年夏季高溫使果實集中,園內採用嚴格防病與分級篩果。釀酒由 Alexandra Lebossé 負責,Aymeric Hervy 管理葡萄園,酒款在 60% 新桶、40% 一年桶中陳 18 個月。

Winemaker & Vineyard Notes: Produced by Château Pichon-Longueville Baron (AXA Millésimes). Winemaker Alexandra Lebossé and viticulturist Aymeric Hervy selected fruit from gravelly parcels that favour Cabernet character; Merlot was harvested earlier (24 Sept–1 Oct) with Cabernet picked 3–8 Oct in 2018. The vintage brought high summer heat and concentrated ripeness, handled with precise canopy and disease management.

Winemaking: The wine spent 18 months in barrels — 60% new oak, 40% one-vintage barrels — giving integrated spice and fine-toothed tannins. The style is direct, vigorous and full-bodied with a tension that keeps it lively.

Sommelier Notes: Deep, almost black core; nose of blackcurrant, plum, cedar and a hint of cigar box. On the palate it’s generous and concentrated, driven by firm, ripe tannins and fresh acidity. The mid-palate shows dark fruit and cocoa, finishing mineral, taut and long.

Occasion / Pairing Guide: Decant 90 minutes and serve with charred ribeye, roast lamb or game dishes. Ideal for elevated weekend dinners, special family celebrations, or as a gift for a Bordeaux lover who wants value with pedigree.
