This limited-collaboration single cask bottling presents powerful, concentrated aromas and flavours driven by American oak maturation. On the nose: warm vanilla, caramelised toffee and toasted oak, with hints of dried stone fruit, leather and a gentle smokiness. The palate is full-bodied and rich — brown sugar and toffee up front, evolving into wood spice, black pepper and a touch of char from the bourbon barrel. Texture is dense and oily, carrying flavours through to a long, warming finish. Producer notes: a special edition released as part of a pop-culture collaboration; bottled at cask strength (59% ABV) with no chill filtration to preserve character. Winemaking/maturation notes: finished and aged in a single bourbon barrel, which imparts deep vanilla, coconut-like oak and charred spice; minimal intervention from bottlers keeps the cask’s signature profile intact. Vineyard/field notes: not a grape wine — the base spirit comes from grain mashes matured in active American oak bourbon barrels; the terroir influence is from cask provenance and maturation environment rather than vineyards. Best served neat or with a few drops of water and allowed to open for about 10–20 minutes to reveal secondary aromatics.
