Deep amber, then leather and dried orchard fruits arrive — raisin, prune, fig — followed by brown sugar and apricot jam. Mid-palate shows cedar, gentle spice and gingerbread; the long finish reveals cinnamon and the subtle, haunting perfume of Mizunara oak. Best enjoyed neat or with a single drop of water to open the top notes.
