A lively Extra Brut from a small Champagne grower, La Petite Montagne opens with bright citrus zest, green apple and delicate white-flower notes. On the palate it shows fine mousse and a tensile, saline core that carries toasted brioche and subtle biscuit from lees ageing. The dosage is restrained, leaving a crisp, almost pinprick dryness and a clear mineral finish. Producer-driven and terroir-expressive, this wine balances fresher fruit tones with autolytic complexity—ideal as an aperitif but sturdy enough for richer shellfish and creamy cheese dishes. Made by traditional method with secondary fermentation in bottle and extended lees contact to build texture and formulae of brioche and biscuit.
