Louis XIII is Rémy Martin’s crown jewel: a blend of more than 1,200 eaux-de-vie, all from the Grande Champagne premier cru, aged between roughly 40 and 100 years. The nose unfolds layers of dried fruit—fig, prune and apricot—over honeyed, caramel and toasted oak notes with a refined rancio. On the palate it is opulently textured yet remarkably silky, offering vanilla, spice and truffle-like savory accents that evolve into a warm, endlessly long finish. Crafted and assembled by successive cellar masters and presented in a Baccarat crystal carafe, this Cognac is best enjoyed neat in a tulip glass after 10–20 minutes of airing to let the complex aromas open.
