Bright, perfumed and elegantly fresh, this Bourgogne from Domaine Antoine Lienhardt shows lifted aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry and rose petal, with a subtle undercurrent of forest floor and dried herbs. On the palate it is light-to-medium in body, driven by lively acidity, fine-grained silky tannins and a savoury finish that keeps the wine engaging. The producer works in a classic Burgundian style: small parcels, careful sorting and gentle extraction to preserve finesse. Fermentation is handled with attention to freshness, followed by short élevage in neutral or seasoned French oak to add texture without masking the fruit. Sourced from cool, calcareous slopes around the regional appellation, this bottle drinks well young with a short decant to open up, or can be enjoyed over a few years as the tertiary notes develop.
