On the palate, it reveals open blackcurrant fruit, well integrated with the oak. The wine is mid-weight, boasting good acidity and balanced alcohol, leading to a dark-fruit finish that lingers. After about ten years, its character shines through, promising longevity for several decades depending on the vintage.
