The 1995 Chateau Leoville Barton is a testament to the classic elegance of Saint-Julien wines. With a medium to deep ruby-red hue, this wine exudes intense aromas of cedar and ripe dark fruits like cherry and cassis. The palate is greeted with fresh acidity and a harmonious balance, where blackcurrant notes are elegantly framed by a well-structured body. The alcohol is well-integrated, contributing to the wine's lengthy finish. This vintage, which has been aged in French oak barrels, showcases the meticulous care in winemaking, from hand-harvesting to careful sorting and respectful extraction. It is a wine that promises to evolve beautifully with time.
