Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte — a Cru Classé estate in Pessac-Leognan owned by the Cathiard family. The domaine practices traditional vinification: whole-berry fermentation at 28°C in small wooden vats with manual punching down, followed by 18 months ageing (60% new barrels) in the estate cooperage and aging on lees. Wines are racked once and matured according to profile, emphasising finesse and terroir expression.
