2005 Joseph Drouhin Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru

The 2005 Joseph Drouhin Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is a testament to the elegance and finesse that Burgundy wines are renowned for. This organic and biodynamic wine presents an intense and bright color, with a nose that initially offers a burst of cherry, followed by an intricate blend of woody and fine spicy aromas, and a touch of musk in certain vintages. The palate is graced with a richness and harmony that is neither too rough nor too heavy, supported by fine and noble tannins that impart a silky texture known as 'gras'. The lively acidity adds energy to the wine, culminating in a delightful aftertaste that lingers. With its superb structure and balance, this wine is a pure delight to savor.
