This wine is the result of a project launched in the early 1990s and lead by Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi. Since 2004 vintage, the direction of Luce was entrusted solely to Lamberto Frescobaldi. The wine is deep and rich in the glass, moving slowly due to the considerable matter that displaces it. The notes of black plums, blackberries, and tobacco constitute the main framework. The background vanilla combines well with gardenia flowers and dark chocolate. Full-bodied, very smooth tannins and a finish full of bite but of good length. Best from 2025.
