A poised village wine from a small family partnership in Vosne-Romanée. Aromas of red cherry and wild raspberry unfurl with violet blossom, subtle baking spice and a touch of forest floor. On the palate it shows a refined, silky texture, bright yet balanced acidity and fine-grained tannins that support concentrated fruit without heaviness. Gentle mineral notes and a savory, persistent finish make it charming in its youth and rewarding with a little cellaring. Best enjoyed after a short decant to open up its layered perfume.
