A poised Premier Cru from Les Suchots, showing a vermilion robe and an elegant aromatic profile of Morello cherry, wild red fruits, a violet floral frame and light toasted notes. On the palate it displays fine-grained, salivating tannins and brisk acidity that lift the fruit, finishing long and savory with a subtle oak imprint from 14 months in 50% new barrels. Vinified with a short cold maceration (3–5 days) and an 18–20 day fermentation in stainless steel vats, this wine balances precision and power—best enjoyed after about 45 minutes of decanting to allow the aromatics to open. Serve with roast duck, game birds, mushrooms and medium-aged cheeses.
