Tasting note

品飲筆記:酒液呈深紫幾近不透光,先是豐滿的黑果香:黑莓、黑醋栗與藍莓的果肉感立刻撲鼻,綴以淡淡紫羅蘭花香。隨之而來的是香料、煙草與細緻的木桶香,整體香氣層次豐富。 酒莊與田地:斯薩酒莊由 Famille Vialard 經營,位處 Haut-Médoc 的經典產區,2022 年收穫在九月中至十月初進行,晚夏的成熟條件帶出果實飽滿而又保留清新酸度。 釀造與陳年:在木製與不鏽鋼控溫發酵槽中分批發酵,兼顧提取與清爽度;之後以 225 公升法國橡木桶陳年 14–16 個月,25% 新桶,賦予結構與香草、烤木香的細膩支撐。 口感:入口圓潤、果肉飽滿,單寧紮實但細緻,有咬感(chewy)但不粗糙,酸度提神使整體平衡。餘韻悠長,帶有礦感與辛香,十分適合搭配紅肉與成色奶酪。整體氣質既有力度也保有優雅,現飲或窖藏皆宜。

Tasting note: Inky, deep purple in the glass with an almost opaque core. The nose opens to concentrated black fruits — blackberry and blackcurrant compote — lifted by a fresh blueberry note and delicate violet florals. Spice and subtle tobacco emerge with air, while a measured oak frame adds toast and gentle vanilla spice. Producer notes & vineyard: Harvested between mid-September and early October, the 2022 vintage benefited from warm, steady ripening that preserved freshness while delivering ripe, concentrated fruit. The estate, run by Famille Vialard and stewarded by winemaker Laurent Saint Pasteur, produces a classic Médoc expression with good depth and structure. Winemaking & ageing: Fermentation took place in truncated, thermo-regulated wooden and stainless steel vats to balance extraction and freshness. The wine was matured for 14–16 months in 225-litre French oak barrels, 25% new, yielding a refined tannic backbone and integrated oak spice. Palate & cellaring: Medium-plus body with bright acidity and fine-grained, present tannins; juicy black fruit core gives way to savory graphite and spice notes on a long, persistent finish. Drink from 2026 and cellar comfortably into the 2030s.

Château Cissac is a long-established Haut-Médoc estate owned by Famille Vialard. Located on classic Médoc terroir, the property produces wines that combine concentration with a fresh backbone. Under winemaker Laurent Saint Pasteur the estate focuses on careful vineyard management, precision in fermentation and conservative use of new oak to preserve fruit clarity. The domaine is also a member of the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois du Médoc.
