品飲筆記：酒色深紫帶寶石光，前段以濃郁黑果、黑醋栗與李果醬為主軸，隨之綻放紫羅蘭與草本清氣，後段有甘草、檀香與石墨感交織，並帶一抹海鹽般的礦物。口感豐滿但不笨重，鮮明酸度與緊緻卻細緻的單寧提供良好支撐，尾韻長且帶香料與微妙橡木。生產與釀造：全園人工採收，經過嚴格分級挑選後置入溫控木槽發酵，發酵期間保持溫和抽液以尊重果汁本身，浸皮約三週，完成後分批進入法國橡木桶陳年十八個月，以保留純粹果味同時增添結構。葡萄園與土壤：位處聖朱利安優質河床礫石高地，面向吉倫德河，黏土－礫石的亞層能穩定水分與養分，採傳統翻土管理且不使用除草劑。整體風格端正優雅，質地有層次，既可現在開飲感受年輕力量，也非常適合長期陳放收藏。
Tasting note: Deep garnet to purple, this Saint-Julien opens with layers of concentrated black fruits — cassis, ripe blackberry and plum preserves — lifted by violet and subtle eucalyptus. Secondary aromas of licorice, sandalwood, graphite and a saline mineral thread lead into a full-bodied palate where ripe, finely grained tannins meet bright, precise acidity. The mouthfeel is dense yet elegant, with a long, perfumed finish showing spice and gentle oak. Producer & winemaking: Leoville Barton keeps a classical approach — fully hand-harvested fruit is destemmed, rigorously sorted and fermented in thermo-regulated wooden vats. Alcoholic fermentation lasts around 7–10 days with gentle, respectful extraction and a maceration of roughly three weeks. The wine is matured for 18 months in French oak, building structure and aromatic complexity. Vineyard: The vines sit on a prime Garonne-gravel hilltop facing the Gironde; clay-gravel subsoils provide natural water regulation and depth. Traditional ploughing is practised and the estate favours manual vineyard work with no herbicide. Drinking window & potential: Built for mid- to long-term ageing, the 2022 will reward several years in cellar and shows the balance to develop harmoniously from the early 2030s onward.

Château Leoville Barton is a historic Deuxième Grand Cru Classé estate with deep family roots. Established when Hugh Barton bought part of the Léoville vineyards in the early 19th century, the property has been managed with a focus on classical viticulture and careful cellar work. Ownership remains with the Barton family line, and the château is known for disciplined vineyard practices, hand harvesting and traditional winemaking that favor balance, precision and age-worthiness.
