The palate is medium-bodied and composed, with polished, silky tannins, vibrant acidity and a mineral-tinged, savory finish. Producer notes highlight Talbot’s long family ownership (Bignon‑Cordier) and its reputation for reliable, ageworthy vintages—generous and approachable in youth yet structured for the cellar. Winemaking & ageing: fermented in oak vats and matured 15 months in French oak (50% new), closed with natural cork.
