Tasting note

卡龍世家二牌帶著親切又優雅的風格，適合想要立刻享受波爾多風味的你。香氣以黑色與紅色果實為主，伴有李子、礦石感和一點草本（尤加利）與巧克力的暗香；入口則是柔滑、絨面的口感，單寧細緻但有質感，酸度支撐讓酒款活潑不沉重，尾韻帶一抹香料與礦物感，回味持久。 酒莊以傳統與現代手法並重：人工採收、枝頭初選、機械震動分選再人工篩選；在控溫不鏽鋼桶中發酵，浸皮18–21天，蛋白澄清，之後以法國橡木桶陳17個月。葡萄園地貌為第四紀的厚砂礫層覆在第三紀的黏土之上，砂礫頂部還有湖相黏土，土壤組合賦予酒款排水良好、結構明朗與礦感的特質。整體酒體溫暖易飲，既能即開即飲，也有短中期陳年的潛力。配烤牛排、熟成芝士或帶汁燉菜最合適。

Le Marquis de Calon is the approachable second wine from a storied Saint-Estephe estate — crafted to deliver early charm without losing the estate’s mineral spine and structure. Aromas open to a mix of dark and red fruits, plum and subtle graphite, with herbal notes and a touch of chocolate and spice. The palate is plush and silky, with velvety, slightly dusty tannins balanced by bright acidity and a juicy, mineral-tinged finish. Producer notes emphasise immediate enjoyment, warmth and a soft texture that still recalls the grand vin’s elegance. Winemaking follows a careful, modern approach: hand-harvested fruit with initial vineyard selection, mechanical vibration sorting and final hand sorting; fermentation in temperature-controlled conical stainless-steel tanks with maceration of 18–21 days, fining with egg white and 17 months ageing in French oak barrels. The vineyard sits on thick Quaternary gravel over predominantly Tertiary clay, with a fine lacustrine clay layer on the gravel crest — a terroir that gives lift and mineral definition. Drink now to 2040, though it’s notably enjoyable with only a short decant.
